THANK YOU MR. JOHNSON

By the way, I would really like to thank Mr. Johnson.  He is the the humble and underacknowledged glue that holds the whole thing together from Sat AM until Sunday PM.  Thank you Mr Johnson, I couldn’t do it without you!

RESULTS!!!

The Finals were very exciting this year.  LEO VS Hot and Sweaty again.  This is turning into a rivalship.  The beginning of the first half the score was close, trading points and tied scores.  Hot and Sweaty ended the first half with a two point lead.  After half time Hot and Sweaty scored two (or three?) in a row.  It seems they became too relaxed (per usual) and LEO snuck in with a serious come back.  (An amazing lay out D from behind by Beth Oppenheimer).  Leo’s game looks so elegant and almost effortless, regardless it is hard to break the sheer will power of Hot and Sweaty who just “refuse to lose”.  (Deanna King quoted).  Hot and Sweaty rallied and pushed out that last game point that they had been waiting for, for what seemed like a long time.

Scores, I forgot at this moment, Ill get back on here later today with more highlights and  exact numbers.  It was close and fun.

PICK UPS ARE WELCOME!

Maybe you are seeing this site for the first time and wanted a team to come but missed the deadline.  If so come anyway, there’s plenty of teams that need extra players–Men and Women!

Already bringing a team?  Have some Newbies in town that could benefit from a fun weekend of ultimate?  Bring them along, we can definitely find them a team.

Captains and Rosters

Rosters can be created online at www.upa.org.  A current UPA member must create the roster.  He or she may add or delete players at will.  This is convenient because you can see who needs to sign a waiver for the year.  Additional non-upa players may be added the day of the event PRIOR to the Captains meeting.  For every one of these non-upa players whom must be added by hand on paper, a $10 check must be submitted to me or mailed in to the UPA. Electronic rosters are an option of CONVENIENCE for you and for myself.  They are OPTIONAL

Captains meeting is at 9 AM sharp.  PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY IF YOU HAVE A MESS OF PAPERWORK TO WORK OUT WITH ME REGARDING ROSTERS AND WAIVERS. Please have all waivers printed and signed prior to this time.  IF you forget I will have extra waivers printed, but please try to be organized and prompt so we can get on with the funstuff Saturday AM.
